RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE ; Tadbund, Secunderabad ; March 2022 - ongoing

A contemporary Urban Residence for a multi generational joint family in Tadbund, Secunderabad. While providing for distinct floor-wise residential units, the design also vertically binds the overall building ensemble by means of a focal atrium space. The Architectural expression of the building actively engages with the family's cultural roots in Rajasthan, and thus imbibes traditional Rajasthani architectural elements such as Jharokha, Darwaza, Baradari etc in a contemporary composition.
